This still life is my first large piece, and was created for a gallery show in Toronto entitled "Death". The show has since traveled to Calgary and will soon be traveling to China. The majority of the objects belonged to my father and were a big part of my childhood. I can remember the old man and woman sitting on the fireplace mantle staring down at me. The old man was actually one of the first images I drew of a human. This piece took about 80 hours and is on Bristol board.
